Our qi gong (chi kung) classes are open to all.  They are mixed ability and are suitable for both beginners and those with more experience.

The class is small, with a maximum number of around 12 students and has a friendly, informal nature to it.

The emphasis in the class is on health and personal development, rather than martial arts.

The focus of the class is in several areas:

  • Teaching efficient structural integration through detailed work with the joints, tendons and fascia of the body.
  • Clearing internal blockages and restrictions through specific body awareness exercises.
  • Breathing practices to help calm the nervous system and open the body, creating more internal space
Once learnt, these internal qi gong processes can be utilised in daily life or integrated into other internal arts systems (e.g. Tai Chi) to help maximise their effectiveness.
