Graham Kennedy - Biography

Graham KennedyFor most of his adult life, Graham has been involved in the study and practise of a number of different mind-body disciplines. These included shiatsu massage, internal and external martial arts, natural healthcare methodologies and a number of meditative and self-developmental processes.

He now specialises in the resolution of early traumatic experiences that have their origins in the prenatal period, the birth process and during the vital first few years of childhood when the infant/child is developing its attachment with its parents.

His commitment to working to help resolve early life issues is due to his understanding that this period of time sets a template for our physical, emotional and psychological health, and that if we make changes here it can have profound effects in all aspects of our life.

Graham has completed extensive training in Prenatal and Birth Trauma Resolution under Dr. Raymond Castellino of Santa Barbara California, Corrective Attachment Therapy and Corrective Attachment Parenting under Dr. Terry Levy and Michael Orlans of the Evergreen Psychotherapy Centre, Evergreen Colorado, and Working with Severe Attachment Disorders with the Post-Adoption Centre, London. He is currently extending his training in Prenatal and Birth Trauma Resolution with Karlton Terry of Denver, Colorado.

Graham is also a senior practitioner and teacher of Craniosacral Therapy, as well as a supervisor with the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA). He has been involved in teaching Craniosacral Therapy since 1994. He is a co-founder and joint principal of the Institute of Craniosacral Studies, which runs two-year professional training courses. He is also a faculty member at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, where he is the module leader for teaching anatomy to acupuncture students. Graham also teaches regular classes and private lessons in the internal principles of chi kung and tai chi.
